Ryan S Swehla, CCIM, CPM
Ryan Swehla, CCIM, is passionate about creating value in commercial real estate. As the co-founder and principal of NAI Benchmark, Ryan oversees the firm’s asset and property management division in addition to his work as a real estate broker. This role gives him a unique perspective on how to increase value for property owners. NAI Benchmark’s 2,000,000 square foot portfolio consists of retail, office, industrial, and multifamily properties – giving Ryan a broad-based approach to creating value for commercial management clients.
Ryan is an active investor in commercial real estate and consequently deeply understands the objectives of both commercial property owners and tenants. This perspective has helped clients develop compelling strategies for their commercial real estate investments and revitalized formerly challenged properties.
Ryan serves as a board member with the Downtown Modesto Partnership and is a past chair of the City of Modesto Board of Zoning Adjustment. He holds a CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Manager) designation and State of California Brokers License.
Married with three young children, Ryan is part of the next generation of leadership in California’s Central Valley and currently serves on the board of Great Valley Academy charter school which serves 1,500+ students regionally. An avid mountaineer, Ryan has climbed Mt. Rainier and all 15 California fourteeners (mountains over 14,000 Ft) and is completing the John Muir Trail with his family.
